Let’s know how to come to a conclusion about the Vargottama Uchcha ( Exaltation ), Necha (Debilitation ) Swagrahi ( Own house ) Planets in the horoscope.
Vargottama means status quo. A planet placed in the same sign in both D1 & D9 chart is called Vargottama Graha ( Planet ).
For example when Vargottama planet is weak then that planet gives negative effect to the horoscope. When Venus is weak as the vargottama planet, which means love, love, pleasure, love, happiness, the horoscope will not get love, pleasure, or satisfaction. And when the exalted planet happens, it happens in the same sign. Thus it exerts its influence.
Vargottama planet can also happen as exaltation then it is like born intelligent. Uchcha Graha means intelligent because of hard working. Even though the planets are said to be in own house , Jupiter in Pisces does not have as much power as Jupiter in Sagittarius. In the horoscope, Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, but it should be known that Jupiter in the 6th will bring more problems when the Libra ascendant is in the horoscope. That means the effect of Vargottama Graha will be different according to Lagna. Not so much. A planet that is debilitated by evil will have the strongest strength. If Vargottama Lagna is good in the horoscope, his personality shines brightly, while if it is bad, it shows a kind of mental weakness.
